He works with companies of all sizes—including Fortune 100 corporations, school districts, hospitals, nonprofits, and startups—on business visa options such as H-1B, L-1, TN, and P-1 visas, as well as immigrant categories like PERM, Multinational Managers, Extraordinary Ability, Outstanding Researchers, and National Interest Waivers. He also concentrates on J-1 waivers for medical professionals, including Conrad 30, DHHS, and no-objection waivers, helping physicians continue to serve communities across the United States.

Beyond his employment-based practice, Trey assists families with immigration options, offering thoughtful and compassionate counsel. He has also represented clients navigating student visas, independent employment searches, and naturalization. His clients span a wide range of industries—healthcare, higher education, technology, engineering, primary education, and professional and amateur sports.

Trey began his career with a strong foundation in immigration law. After graduating in the top ten percent of his class from the University of Arizona, he earned his J.D. from American University’s Washington College of Law. There, he represented clients through the Immigrant Justice Clinic and held leadership roles advocating for immigrant rights.

Based in North Carolina, Trey represents clients locally, across the country, and at consulates worldwide. Outside the office, he enjoys time with his husband, Matt, and their dog, Jack, often hiking the Blue Ridge Mountains or exploring local breweries.
