Dahlia
Human Companion: Heather Sivaraman, Attorney
Dahlia Loves: Cuddling, playing with toys, stealing toys from other dogs, running, being athletic.
Dahlia isn't a fan of: Strangers or car rides. Dahlia is a super sweet love bug once she gets to know and love you, but until that day, she is very wary of strangers, including dogs she hasn't met. She also never quite got to the point where she loves the car like her pet siblings do. She has learned to accept car rides and seems to know that they come with a fun adventure at the end, but she's still quite nervous when actually in the car.
Funny Fact about Dahlia: Dahlia once accidentally painted large white spots down one side of her body by leaning against the hallway at home right after it had been repainted.
What's the best thing about Dahlia: Dahlia is incredibly acrobatic and can jump higher than you would think. While she's more nervous than most of her siblings, she is truly so full of love and genuine trust of those she lets in. It's quite endearing and an honor to win her love, since she doesn't give it away without some work.
What movie or song title best describes Dahlia: Let's Get Loud - Jennifer Lopez
How did you meet Dahlia: Dahlia was adopted from Chatham County Animal Shelter after Heather and her family agreed to take her on to help the shelter out when it was overcrowded and trying to avoid euthanasia for any of the pets. Once she joined their pack, Heather fell in love with her and did not want to send her back to the shelter.
What's the best thing about having Dahlia in the office: Dahlia is the most energetic of all of the office dogs, so she often instigates zoomies and playtime in the office courtyard.
