Diversity Visa Lottery Open

The Diversity Immigrant Visa (DV) Program registration period opened at 12:00pm EST on October 5, 2022 and will close at 12:00pm EST on November 8, 2022. Each year, the DV Program offers up to 55,000 immigrant visas to individuals randomly selected from the pool of registrants.

Every registrant may only register once and must complete the registration online. Moreover, each registrant must also be from a country with low rates of immigration to the United States, and no more than 7% of DV Visas may be allocated to individuals from the same country.
