Second Quarter H-1B Statistics

The U.S. Department of Labor recently released statistics on the Labor Condition Applications for the second quarter of FY2018. A certified Labor Conditions Application is required for each H-1B application filed with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. The statistics include the number of Labor Conditions Applications received and processed as well as the top 10 occupations, states, and employers. Software developers are currently the top occupation receiving certified Labor Conditions Applications and California the top state. Ernst & Young, a business management consultant located in Raleigh, North Carolina, is the top employer. You can access the full report here.
