DOS Provides Additional Estimated Wait Times for Nonimmigrant Visa Applications

The Department of State (DOS) Visa Appointment Wait Times page was recently updated to include estimated wait times for interview waivers in addition to estimated wait times for interview appointments for multiple categories of nonimmigrant visa applications, including:

• B1/B2 visitor visas
• F, M, and J student/exchange visas
• H, L, O, P, and Q temporary worker visas

While the DOS page provides estimated interview waiver wait times for each U.S. Embassy and Consulate, all nonimmigrant visa applicants should check with their individual Embassy or Consulate to determine their eligibility for a waiver. Applicants applying through an Embassy or Consulate outside their place of residence should check for non-resident wait times.
