President, Annaluisa Padilla said, "the principles released by the White House are an attack on the fundamental truths that have build this nation of immigrants." She believes President Trump's proposals would make the already outdated and complex system even worse.

Executive Director, Benjamin Johnson said, "the list of priorities and principles released by the White House reflects a fundamental misunderstanding of the valuable role that immigrants play in our society and in building our economy as well as a shocking disregard for the principles of due process and proportionality that are the bedrock of the American judicial system."
