H-1B Premium Processing Now Available

On October 3, 2017, United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) released information stating that premium processing has been resumed for all H-1B visa extension of stay petitions. Premium processing is now available for all types of H-1B visa petitions. Premium processing was recently reinstated for H-1B petitions subject to the annual cap, petitions filed on behalf of physicians under the Conrad 30 program, and certain petitions that are not subject to the cap.

The H-1B visa provides the U.S. with skilled workers for a wide ranges of occupations. These industries include information technology, engineering, and mathematics. Premium processing guarantees a 15-calendar day processing time from USCIS. If the deadline is not met during processing by USCIS, the petitioner's service fee is refunded and expedited processing continues.
