Changes to Employment Based Adjustments

USCIS (U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services) is in the process of implementing new and more restrictive policies for the adjudication of immigration applications. It was announced on August 28, 2017, that all applications for adjustment of status based on employment will require an in-person interview. According to USCIS, the purpose of these interviews is to provide an opportunity for USCIS to determine the credibility of applicants.
