Electronic PERM Audit Responses Now Accepted

On April 15, 2017, the Office of Foreign Labor Certification (OFLC) made an announcement regarding the PERM Case Management System portal and the PERM audit process.

What is the change?

According to the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) (AILA Doc. No. 17041849), the change permits individuals to now submit electronic documents for a PERM audit. Electronic submission is now possible without emails or attachments. The system also provides immediate receipt confirmation.

However, the new feature may only be used for cases audited on or after April 15, 2017. The Department of Labor Liaison Committee encourages use of this new feature. The change helps OFLC to review audits efficiently, and additionally helps to keep processing times reasonable.
